Mr Stewart Jolly has
been announced as the Sleafordian Coaches - Driver
of the Year for 2009. A new scheme has been in place
at the company to award a driver of the month and
then at the end of each year our new Ted Barton
Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the driver of the
year. Congratulations to Stewart and all our drivers
who won a Driver of the Month award during 2009.

Also the Sleaford Into

SEMI-FINAL OF THE ESFA UNDER 18'S CUP AND THEIR EPIC

Sleafordian Coaches were proud to transport Carres
Grammar School to Durham for the Semi-Final of the
ESFA Under 18's Cup against the Gilesgate School,
Durham. Carres Grammar School made an epic 2 - 1 win
against Gilesgate School and will now proceed to the
final!

Sleafordian Coaches
were proud to transport the England Under 18's team
for their match against Wales last week at Boston
United FC.
“Excellent service all round, driver Keith most
obliging – thank you for your service. Extremely
helpful, every detail covered. You may like to know
that the coach operator in the Greater Manchester
area, which we are using for our next game in 3
weeks time, is charging a higher amount for a
similar service and I bet their service will not be

FARE INCREASE ON SLEAFORD INTO TOWN ROUTE

would like to inform passengers that the Sleaford
Into Town service will have a fare increase from
23rd July 2008 due to the high increase in fuel
prices. The new fares will be £1.10 Adult and £0.60
child.

Sleafordian Coaches
have added a new vehicle to our fleet an 05 plated
Plaxton Paragon with 53 seats, Toilet,
Reclining Seats, DVD & Video, TV
Monitor, Drinks, Fridge, CD Player, GPS, Air
Conditioning and CCTV. We have also had our Boston
United F.C Team Coach fully refurbished pictures of
which can be seen below.

would like to inform passengers that the area of
Bernicia Drive, Northumbria Road and Aiden Road in
Quarrington is now a hail and ride section of the
Sleaford Into Town route until such time as
Lincolnshire County Council erect further bus stops
after which it will return to a designated stop only
route. |

customers that the prices for the Sleaford Into Town
route will be rising to £1.00 Adult Fare and 55p
Child Fare from the 1st April 2008. |

The 2008 Holidays and
Day Excursions brochures will be released on Sunday
2nd December at the Sleaford Christmas Market.
Sleafordian will have our usual tour coach on site
and everyone is welcome to come and visit us and
pick up the new brochure. |

DRIVERS SET TO GAIN NVQ
QUALIFICATION |

In January ten of our
drivers started on a NVQ course in PCV Driving and
we are pleased to announce that all ten drivers have
completed the course and are awaiting their
certificates - further details to follow |

SLEAFORDIAN DOES ITS BIT FOR
THE ENVIRONMENT |
|
Sleafordian Coaches are
turning green! We now collect rain water and recycle
it for our vehicle wash facilities. This means we
are greatly cutting back on our water usage. Since
1998 the majority of our vehicles have been run on
"Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel" which together with the
majority of our vehicles using either Euro1 or
Euro2, and our newest coaches using Euro3
specification engines means that our coaches have
among the lowest emissions of any vehicle in the
U.K. Sleafordian also recycle all used engine oils /
filters, tyres and scrap metal and all brake and
clutch linings are asbestos free. |

THE LINCOLN CITY SERVICE |

Sleafordian will be
ceasing to operate the Lincoln City Service from the
1st July onwards. There are no plans for any other
company to be operating this route.

INTO TOWN SERVICE FOR THE SLEAFORD CHRISTMAS MARKET |

Sleafordian Coaches will
be operating our popular Sleaford Into Town Service
on Sunday 3rd December to provide transport into
town for the Sleaford Christmas Market. As a gesture
of goodwill to the town we will be offering free
transport to all passengers on this date! The route
will be split into North and South of town and will
run to timetable between 10.45 and 15.45. The
North end of town (North Parade, Stokes Drive, York Road, Sycamore
Drive and Lincoln Road) terminus will be on Church
Lane and the South end of town (Southfields, Quarrington, Clayhill Road and Rookery Avenue) will
be at the Train Station. We regret that due to road
closures on this date we are unable to offer
transport into town from the Boston Road area. To

ANNOUNCE NEW 70 SEAT COACH FOR SCHOOL GROUPS |
|
Sleafordian are pleased to announce that one of our
single deck coaches is to be transformed into a 70
seat coach designed specifically for school groups.
All seats will be fitted with three point seatbelts.
This will be a welcome addition to many school
groups who find themselves having to hire two
coaches at expensive rates when the group they wish
to transport only requires for example 60 seats.

at Leasingham. A group of children from the school
were invited to have a look around the coach and ask

SLEAFORD TESCO'S SERVICE ROUTE |

Sleafordian are pleased to announce
another new service starting 19th
December. This service will operate on a Monday &
Friday and will serve Rauceby & Silk Willoughby. The
destination will be Sleaford Tesco via Woolworths on
the incoming journey and on the return journey Tesco
via Market Place
